Take UUs with You!

#ChaliceChallenge Calling all artists, builders, and makers! Here's you invitation to show us your Chalice Spirit. Show us your homemade, special, or unique chalice. Take a photo, draw, sculpt, build, assemble --whatever! We want to see your chalice!

For extra school spirit, show us a photo of your chalice on your backpack, bag, binder, or folder. Having a chalice you can see throughout the day can be a great reminder of the community who loves and supports you no matter what!

Sleep in Middle and High School Students

With all our concerns about our youth and other illnesses, we often forget how important sleep is for them. 

Children and adolescents who do not get enough sleep have a higher risk for many health and behavior problems. Learn how much sleep students need and how many are not getting it.

Sexuality and Our Youth 

One of the big griefs for me in this last year has been the fact that we have had to postpone Our Whole Lives (OWL) classes. These courses invite young people into sensitive conversations by centering truthful information, consent, and body positivity. We can't replicate that online, but I will be sharing some resources for you as the adults in their lives to empower you to have these difficult conversations. 

The first one is from Sex Positive Families. They support sharing age-appropriate information. "Talking openly and honestly about sexual health topics is so important in raising kids who have an informed, safer, and more confident understanding about their bodies, relationships, and sexual decision making."
