Wise Restraints That Set Us Free

There’s a paradox to spiritual practices. Voluntary submission to the restraints of disciplined practice leads to greater spiritual freedom. The rigors of disciplined practice can be humbling. Pretensions and illusions of control fall away, often liberating us from our own false beliefs, ill-conceived notions, and unchallenged assumptions.
