How is it that we come to feel welcome in a group or setting? What does it take for that to happen? Is the 'clencher' the action of one individual within the group, or is there a group 'ambience' that is also necessary? Do we sense it before any specific actions occur? Can it change suddenly as a result of something specific? Is Arizona a welcoming place?
