Letters From a Phoenix Jail

October 10, 2010

Rev. Diane Dowgiert Kat Sinclair

Worship Associate: Bid Romans
Music: Desert Choral and Donna DeHaan

Henry David Thoreau made civil disobedience a strong undercurrent of Unitarian Universalism. In response to Arizona's anti-immigrant law, SB 1070, UU's from across the country came to Phoenix to engage in protest.  As a result, some were arrested, including our own Kat Sinclair.

Reverend Dowgiert shares her Reflections on Civil Disobedience and the choices that she and other UUs had to make for protesting SB 1070 at home and in Phoenix.
