Rev. Johnson Intern Ministry Fund
It has been over twenty years since David A. Johnson served the UUCT as our minister and at last we are installing him as Minister Emeritus. To honor him and his service, the Board of Trustees has established the David A. Johnson Intern Ministry Fund, to be supported by donations, both from within and outside our congregation, along with other sources of funding, such as grants and memorial gifts.

An intern ministry program not only benefits our church, but the large fellowship of the UUA. During David's fifteen-year ministry, he supervised three intern ministers. These ministerial students, from different divinity schools, completed their studies and went on to serve our faith in many ways. One, the Reverend Sandy Szelag, who occasionally serves this congregation, remained in Tucson.

It is fitting that we acknowledge the gifts that David brought to us with both his new title and the establishment of this living memorial. As this congregation moves into the future, let us honor all our past ministers and leaders. Please contribute as generously as possible to the David A. Johnson intern Ministry Fund.
