In accordance with the recommendations of the Endowment Committee and the approval by the Board of Trustees (meeting March 23,2010), a Congregationally Restricted Emergency Fund has been established.

The following Policy shall govern the utilization of this fund:

• That the Board of Trustees, on behalf of the congregation, will approve any disbursements from the Emergency Fund;
• That disbursements will be for major capital expenses only, and cannot be substituted for maintenance, repairs, or capital expenses under $5,000;  and
• That such disbursements only be considered once annually budgeted funds for Capital replacement have been depleted.
